May has made its presence and as time passes think of May as a time for a new beginning, a time to renew the mind, body, and spirit.
Practice compassion, build character, and grow spiritually. Imagine that each day presents us with the choice to make each day better. Better for you and all those that surround you, think of someone else today, get a co-worker a coffee, catch up with an old friend, or tell someone how much they mean to you. Today, take one simple moment to stop thinking about our busy schedule and hectic lives and do a simple act of kindness. It is all a cycle and in due time, it will make its way back to you when you least expect.
Act genuine, act with compassion, and ask for nothing in return. Bring yourself to your own inner happiness. Positive energy will surround you. In this world we are all connected to one another and to the universe. The way we act and the positive or negative energy that radiates from us affects the world and those around us.
We must remember also to give to the people and things that keep you moving and thriving, nurture and support all that surrounds you inside and out, and in return you will be nurtured and supported.
This mother's day take a moment to thank Mom for her love and support, when she was there for you as a child and as you grow into your own being. Be that positive force that makes her smile and appreciate all the wonderful things life offers.
