Natural product chemistry combined with the social impact of herbalism
creates a platform for a variety of potential health enhancing dietary supplements,
pharmaceutical medicines and cosmetic active ingredients. Our goal is to isolate
and investigate active constituents or combinations of active constituents from
natural products for possible candidates to combat cancer, neurodegenerative
and/or auto-immune disorders. Our areas of focus include but are not limited to:
Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Lung & Breast Cancer. We also focus
a portion of our research to find potential active constituents that can play a role
in the cosmetic industry particularly towards wrinkle formation, Melasma,
Eczema and Psoriasis. Going beyond the traditional "grind and find" approach of
natural product chemistry we create and test new chemistries and assays that
create an easier methodology and greater potential for screening natural products.
Our published research generates the potential to either move the knowledge into
the Product Development/Manufacturing & Sales division of RD Alchemy Natural
products for creation of a marketable dietary supplement or cosmetic to the public
or sell to investors or other companies for further research and/or development.
